And now, IT moves on to an equally exciting staged reading of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler, a part of V-Day Lake Charles 2017. This is a benefit production. Proceeds will go: 90% to the Oasis House and 10% to the international V-Day effort.

Dates, time and location are: 7:00pm on Friday – Saturday, February 24-25 at the Ben Mount Theatre, Central School, 809 Kirby Street, Lake Charles.

What are The Vagina Monologues? Hailed by The New York Times as “funny” and “poignant” and by the Daily News as “intelligent” and “courageous,” The play dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women’s experiences. The play was first performed off-Broadway by Ms. Ensler.
