“Louisiana Women: Bound” rehearsals underway

by carolyn with no comments

Joy Pace directs an all-Lake Area cast in three one-woman plays, Louisiana Women:  Bound, taken from the composite of one-woman plays, Louisiana Women, by Carolyn Woosley.  So far, peak previews last weekend at Coffee House Theatre were really promising.  Sierra Jones plays a compelling, haunted “Eliza”.  Jo Ann Hanks searches her heart and soul as a decidedly 19th-century female plantation owner, “Rachel”.  Leah Howard makes the crowd laugh even as it sits puzzled over the complex story of “Marie Thereze” CoinCoin.  Jordan Ashworth is stage manager and Norman McKnight is lighting designer in this diverse evening.  Don’t miss the show.  October 30-31, Nov 1, 7 & 8 at 7:00pm and one matinee, Sunday, November 9 at 2:00pm, all at Ben Mount Stage of Central School A&H Center.  Tickets are $15 or $10 for students.  See you at the show!
