A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer was a sleeper hit Wednesday night. The crowd showed up at Sloppy’s Downtown in weather that only a mother would show up for. The fourteen monologues by Susan Miller, Nickolas Kristof, Eve Ensler, Mollie Doyle and many others slayed the crowd — both the fine writing and the delivery. The ambience complete with cool black-painted brick wall and the smells of the kitchen trying to quietly fry orders (!) added to the evening.
