Final two performances of moving production

by carolyn with no comments

Be sure to see “This Wide Night” at Central School’s Ben Mount Auditorium. Audiences are giving some fine, strong feedback to IT.  The two actors are pouring their hearts out to make this modern play come to life.  Jordan Belle Ashworth plays the complex, struggling young Marie.  Joy Pace plays the older, ebullient special Lorraine.  This Saturday Jan. 24 at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.

“This Wide Night” opens January 15th for 5-day run!

Back from the holidays on Thursday January 15 IT proudly opens the two-woman play This Wide Night (TWN) by Chloe Moss.  Two women, unlikely friends when “in” prison, reconnect on the “outside”.  Now free, what awaits?  Enjoy Jordan Belle Ashworth as the young, edgey “Marie” and Joy Pace as her older, ebullient and newly freed friend, “Lorraine”.

The play is modern, pathos-filled and humor-filled.  All cast and crew are SWLA residents.

TWN  runs Jan. 15, 16, 17 and 24 at 7:00pm  and 2:00pm on Sunday Jan. 25.  All performances are at Central School A&H Center, 2nd floor, Ben Mount Stage, 809 Kirby Street.

There will be some strong language.  There is one intermission.  Adult and regular refreshment will be sold.

Tickets are $15 or $10 for students of any age.  Buy tickets at this website or reserve at 337-436-6275 or at the door.

IT explores, again, its theme of America’s Unfinished Business: Freedom.  See you at the show!
